Attorneys Shari Thieman Greene And Ashley Gartman Bell
Some people know what they want to do with their lives from a very young age. Shari always knew she wanted to be a lawyer. After about five years in a very secure position in banking in her early 20s she made the move into the legal field. Shari is licensed in New Mexico, Texas (inactive), and Florida. Before, during, and after law school, Ashley worked in the construction field as did her father and grandfather. She understands the terms, jargon, mechanics and the issues those who work in construction face. Together, they are a powerful team.
Passionate And Prepared Representation
We are passionate about our legal system. Effective lawyers must be prepared. In many cases this means avoiding litigation by being ready for it. With each and every client we represent we fully prepare for every stage, whether we are acting on behalf of the plaintiff or defendant. This means we are ready to take your case to the appeal stage when merited.
The Cost Of Litigation
In the majority of cases formal litigation is not the best option. Nine out of 10 times litigation is more expensive and more time-consuming than working through an acceptable settlement. Whether negotiating a settlement or taking a case to trial, we always work hard to balance the interests of our clients with our passion for litigation.
A Solid Education And Bar Experience
Principal Attorney Shari Thieman Greene ( pronounced “t-man- green”) graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1998. Before that she attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, on scholarship, and graduated in 1990. Then she worked in banking and saw that sometimes it is the smallest details that make the biggest differences, which inspired her in law school and today. Shari is very active personally and professionally and served as president of the Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association from 2010 – 2011.
Associate Attorney Ashley Gartman Bell has years of construction experience. She earned her J.D from Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee in 2015. When she was in college at the University of West Florida, her now-boss, Shari Thieman Greene, was one of her professors. Shari saw Ashley’s unlimited potential, encouraged her through law school, then brought her on board as an attorney. Ashley is bright, hard-working, and knows the legal and practical sides of construction and business.
A Deep Understanding Of Military Personnel And Issues
In 2002, Shari met her now-husband who was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When he came to Hurlburt Field Air Force Base in 2003, Shari came with him, and they fell in love with Northwest Florida. Because of this relationship Shari knows what it is like to be in the military and to be a spouse or family member of someone in the military. Extensive Construction Experience
Living near the Gulf, we know the power and destruction that a hurricane can bring to an area. Natural disasters tend to bring about a “boom and bust” cycle in a community, especially in coastal areas. Living in an area where weather constantly affects construction, contractors and local businesses, we both have a keen understanding of the needs and challenges of this industry.
